Night Operations Manager (Logistics / Parcels)

We are urgently recruiting for an experienced Night Operations Manager to join our Coventry Hub, overseeing a fast‑paced parcel and logistics operation.
This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will manage the night shift team and take full responsibility for inbound collections and trunking operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and on‑time performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate and manage a night shift team of approximately 10 staff
* Oversee inbound parcel collections and trunking activities
* Ensure operational KPIs and service levels are consistently achieved
* Maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient working environment
* Troubleshoot operational issues and drive continuous improvement
* Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics, with parcel experience essential
* Previous experience in a supervisory or management role
* CPC qualification (desirable)
* Strong IT skills, including Excel and Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Proactive, hands‑on approach with the ability to work under pressure
