Customer Advisor Renewals
As a member of the Renewals team you will be the first point of contact for customers during their policy renewal process. You will listen actively, gather details of any changes to their policy, and offer the most suitable products and pricing. Your work will help ensure customers have a clear understanding of their policy, quotation and services.
Working Hours / Shift Patterns
37.5 hours per week, including 3–4 weekends out of every eight. When you work a weekend shift you receive time‑off during the week. Office hours are Monday to Friday 08:00–19:00, Saturday 09:00–17:00 and Sunday 09:00–13:00.
Training & Induction
A 12‑week face‑to‑face training programme covers core learning and in‑office support. Once the programme is completed a trainer or team leader signs you off and you transition to hybrid working as part of your permanent team.
Hybrid Working & Location
You are required to work from the Bexhill office once a week, with the remaining time remote. Training, events and some meetings may require in‑person attendance.
Salary & Progression
* Starting salary: £26,230
* Upon completing training your salary increases automatically to £26,550
* Further progression opportunities exist up to £29,500 based on development and career growth
Responsibilities
* Serve as the voice of the company for renewal customers
* Actively listen to customer queries and fact‑find, understanding policy details and circumstances
* Use training and systems to offer customers the most suitable products and price
* Provide accurate information the first time and ensure customers understand their policy, quotation and services
* Handle customer objections, driving a positive resolution through excellent communication
* Navigate in‑house software systems while taking inbound calls
Qualifications
* Transferable skills: resilience, persuasiveness, customer centricity
* Experience delivering quality customer outcomes
* Self‑motivated with politeness and problem‑solving skills
* Excellent questioning and listening abilities to overcome objections
* Computer literacy and familiarity with call‑centre software
