Inspire Suffolk - Ipswich, IP3 9QX £23,112 – £26,377 pro rata 22.5 hours per week (1 day shift and 2 afternoon/evening shifts) Permanent Reference: 0592 Your role Our youth workers collaborate closely to create exciting and educational experiences for young people. You will be on the look out for new ways to engage them all and will build voluntary and trusting relationships to facilitate non-formal and informal education, to build ‘soft’ and ‘hard’ skills. As part of your role, you’ll also focus on achieving programme KPI’s, demonstrating a commitment to Inspire values and the Youth Work Code of Ethics. Your responsibilities Engaging Young people; Creating a safe environment; Building purpose relationships; Youth participation and Community and Stakeholder Engagement. You will need: a minimum of Youth Work Practice (Certificate Level 2) a minimum of IAG (Certificate Level 2) an enhanced DBS full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle a willingness to drive Mobile Youth Centre Van (classified as a Light Goods Vehicle, standard car licence required) proven experience of engaging and supporting neurodivergent young people.
