As part of Defence Children Services (DCS), Queen Victoria School (QVS) is a co-educational Boarding School funded by the Ministry of Defence to provide stable and uninterrupted education and boarding to some children of Service personnel, from ages 10/11 to 18. Founded in, QVS is set in 45 acres of beautiful Perthshire countryside. We exist to provide stability and continuity of education, within the Scottish system, in a caring and stretching learning environment, valued by the military families whom we serve. We have a long tradition of ceremonial excellence; we take pride in this and all that our school has to offer.

Job Description
We are currently looking to appoint a suitably experienced Information Systems Administrator (ISA) who will be part of the QVS Information Management team which is responsible for the smooth delivery and operation of information services in support of the education of Service children.
This is an exciting opportunity in which the ISA will be responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of technical and information support services to maintain and develop the integrity of the School network serving all devices connected to the domain.
Key responsibilities:
· Assist IT Systems Engineer and DCS ICT Support Team with IT equipment and software support, e.g. first line support recording and troubleshooting issues, resolving or escalating issues when appropriate, responding to and updating Helpdesk support calls.
· Controlling Chromebook maintenance and repairs.
· Maintain IT Asset Register and tracking including Chromebooks.
· Creating and updating user guides.
· Assist IM & Library Manager with information management of SharePoint, Google Workspace and School Website.
· Provide MoDNET administrative support on behalf of the Information Systems Engineer.
· Disseminate IT messages and providing a point of contact for staff.
· Secretary to The QVS ICT committee.
