A suitable candidate should be able and willing to work for Domiciliary Care Services:
· Assist a service user to identify their needs and develop a plan to meet those needs.
· Play an enabling role in providing relevant information and support/care programmes to different client groups including people with mental health issues using reassurance, tact, and sensitivity.
· Encourage health promotion within care strategies.
· Provide medication administration support, assistance, and monitoring.
· Assist with the provision of a wide range of practical, social, emotional, and general care support services to service users.
· Assist with personal care viz. assist with strip wash, dressing/undressing, managing toileting need (pad management/empty and clean the used commode), post toileting hygiene
· Be an effective keyworker, risk assessor and able to work collaboratively with service users to aid recovery and strive for greater independence.
· Empower people to take positive risks
· Be involved in the overall assessment and care planning process as appropriate.
· Be empathetic, non-judgemental, flexible with a can-do approach
· Implement action to meet and maintain care standards
· Evaluate outcomes and keep accurate records of care and support.
· Adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems.
· Promote a positive image for the employer.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
