Salary: From £19.12 - £54.27 per hour | Location: Sherburn in Elmet, Leeds | Role: HGV Class 1 Driver
We are recruiting for HGV1 Drivers at our Wincanton Sainsbury’s site in Sherburn in Elmet, Leeds. The role involves store delivery work delivering ambient, chilled and frozen goods. Competitive pay rates guaranteed 8 hours per day, and plenty of overtime available.

Shift Start Times Available:
Days (04:00 – 16:00)
Nights (16:00 – 04:00)
Weekly Pay (55 hrs/week, PAYE):
Days: approx. £1,310.33 / week (£23.82 / hr) → circa £68,137 / year
Nights: approx. £1,514.98 / week (£27.55 / hr) → circa £78,779 / year

Requirements:
HGV1 license (minimum 6 months C+E required)
Full HGV1 licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements
Digital Tacho & Driver Qualification Cards
Strong understanding of Driver’s Hours, regulations, and Working Time Directive
Excellent geographical knowledge
Customer-focused attitude
