Key Responsibilities for the Band 2 Healthcare Assistant (HCA)
1. Deliver high-quality care to patients, attending to their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
2. Support patients with daily activities such as eating, bathing, dressing, and mobility.
3. Work under the guidance of a Mental Health Nurse to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care.
4. Observe and record changes in patient conditions and report them appropriately.
5. Monitor patient progress and assist with medication administration, maintaining accurate records.
6. Follow healthcare protocols to ensure patient safety and well-being.
7. Support patients in rehabilitation programs, encouraging independence and promoting positive outcomes.
8. Maintain a safe, hygienic, and conducive environment for patients.
9. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Candidate Requirements
To be considered, you must meet the following criteria:
1. Valid UK Visa allowing you to work more than 20 hours per week.
2. Current UK DBS check.
3. Completed practical training in Basic Life Support (BLS), Manual Handling, Fire Safety, and Conflict Resolution.
4. Immunisation report demonstrating immunity to Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, BCG, and COVID-19.
5. In-date P.M.V.A. certificate for Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression.
6. Prior experience working under a Mental Health Nurse within the past 6 months.
