We’re looking for a strategic and hands‑on Operations/Resources Director with a background in marketing agencies or creative studios to join a leading agency for a 12‑month maternity cover. You will ensure the smooth running of the business during a period of growth, driving operational excellence while maintaining a people‑first culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver the agency’s operational strategy in line with business goals.
* Oversee financial processes, forecasting and reporting with the finance and accounts teams.
* Identify efficiencies across resourcing, systems and workflows.
* Support profitability and commercial insight across client accounts.
* Manage the Operations Co‑ordinator and HR processes (contracts, onboarding).
* Champion company culture, wellbeing, DEI and sustainability initiatives.
* Oversee internal systems, workflow and financial operations with creative teams.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in operations, resource or commercial leadership within a creative or marketing agency.
* Strong financial and strategic planning skills; commercial acumen.
* Experience of using tech tools for financial and planning systems.
* Up‑to‑date knowledge of AI, ideally with relevant qualification.
* Excellent people‑management and communication skills.
