Weston Williamson Partners are looking for a diligent Junior Project Assistant to join our London studio. We are an award winning, international architectural and urban design studio. Our ethos of working collaboratively to create and connect sustainable places for people and influence the many sectors we specialise in which include the creation of innovative transport infrastructure, high-quality residential and mixed-use spaces. Our studio is structured to facilitate a culture of innovation and exemplary design whilst building upon our 35 years of experience, to deliver successful projects. This role is focused on providing support to the Project Manager and wider commercial team to deliver ongoing project reporting and management assistance. Key Accountabilities: Accountable for ensuring that each project is streamlined and producing up to date commercial and project management data to secure consistent cashflow and revenue for the wider business: Using our bespoke ERP software (CMap) to both monitor and regularly produce reports of each of our 100 projects Mobilising resources and assisting the PM in the monitoring of resources, including management against project programmes / fees. Production of timesheet submissions on a regular basis to various clients Reporting on global resource utilisation to improve operational efficiency Keeping up-to-date and preparing monthly applications for payments Co-ordinating commercial invoicing data between project and finance teams to ensure monthly invoicing targets are met Monitoring actual revenue achieved vs. forecasted revenue to ensure the business is accomplishing revenue targets on a monthly basis Co-ordinating subconsultant invoice approvals between project and finance teams to ensure regular cashflow between WWP and subconsultants Document control issue and receipt of documentation between contractor, client and subconsultants. This role list is not exhaustive, and the candidate would be expected to take initiative and gain further responsibilities in the practice as their experience increases. Relevant further training and mentoring by the practice will be offered. Person specification: This role would ideally be suited to an entry level University Graduate with a relevant degree or equivalent experience (1 Years). The candidate will be considered to have good communication skills both written and verbal whilst numeracy skills are essential. Above all, the candidate will have enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
