About the Role
At HC-One, we are looking for enthusiastic and committed Care Assistants to join our Flex Force team.
If you’re looking to earn extra money while gaining valuable experience in the care sector, Flex Force offers contracted hours and guaranteed set pay each month, with shifts across our care homes in the Nottingham area, providing variety and flexibility.
Shifts are scheduled between Monday and Sunday and may include days, nights and weekends. Flexibility is key to the Flex Force Care Assistant role.
The homes include: Rivendell View (NG14 5HH), Coppice Lodge (NG5 7GS), Silverwood (NG9 1FN) & Fairview Way (NG6 9LZ).
Duties
* Supporting Residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals
* Helping Residents with limited mobility
* Taking responsibility for the wellbeing of Residents on and off site
A driving license with access to a vehicle would be advantageous but is not essential.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and it is important to recognise signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
