Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client‑centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market. Our Consulting team has a major role to play in driving forward the growth of the firm with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue.

The International Assurance Services team is looking for a Senior Consultant with specific experience of internal audit to join the team working on a range of clients including UK and international governments, donors, public sector bodies, charities and INGOs.
What you’ll do
* Be a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude, collaborating, exchanging ideas and showing resilience.
* Successfully conduct assignments internationally, while being prepared to work away from home occasionally (≈10% of the time).
* Work with our public‑sector and not‑for‑profit clients both in the UK and overseas, adapting, proactively driving changes, and acting as a self‑starter. This may include secondment to a UK government department auditing major change programmes or auditing beneficiary data on a cash‑transfer programme for various economies.
What we are looking for
Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:
* IIA/ACA qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CMIIA, etc.).
* Fluent in a second language, preferably French, and able to conduct assignments in that language.
* Eligible to undergo UK Government security clearance.
* Robust post‑qualification experience.
* Level 7 education, ideally a master’s degree.
* Experience of internal audit essential in the UN or central government/public sector.
* Experience of fraud, procurement, donor grants or financial systems.
* Experience working in or with the international not‑for‑profit sectors.
* Willingness to undertake overseas travel (about 2–3 trips a year).
* Experience of institutional grant budget proposal development, compliance, monitoring and reporting.
