Prospero Teaching is seeking patient, nurturing, and engaging Tutors to support young learners in Farnham and nearby areas who are currently disengaged from mainstream education. These students require personalised support to reengage with learning and develop socially and emotionally.

Key Details
Location: Farnham and surrounding areas
Hours: 8-15 hours per week per student
Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour
Students: KS2-KS4, often with SEN, SEMH needs or EHCPsAs a Tutor, you will:
As a Tutor, you will work on a 1:1 basis with learners to:
Deliver core subject catch-up (English, Maths, Science)
Support social development and emotional regulation
Build positive relationships that foster trust and motivationAbout you:
Experienced in working with SEN learners
Passionate about inclusive education and personalised learning
Skilled in behaviour management and trauma-informed approaches

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people
Experience of working with learners with SEN
Trauma-informed and skilled in de-escalation and emotional regulation strategies- Desirable
To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
Hold right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide references upon request
Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
