The Role
We seek a detail-oriented finance professional to support our Finance team as an Assistant Accountant. This role involves assisting in financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency. You will report to the Financial Accountant and collaborate with team members on various financial activities including purchase and sales ledgers, fixed assets, VAT, tax, audits, and financial reporting.

About You
Key requirements include:
1. Experience in finance and accounting, with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
2. Proven ability to reconcile financial data and maintain accurate records.
3. Qualified to AAT or hold an equivalent qualification (e.g., finance or accounting degree).
4. Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems like Oracle Fusion.
5. Proficient in Excel, capable of data analysis and presentation with high attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex financial information clearly.
7. Experience in supporting financial statement preparation and audits.
8. Experience in improving financial processes and controls.
9. Ability to adapt to change and manage priorities under deadlines.
