Family Help Early Help Partnership Officer - Ref: CH02425 Grade G8, SCP 26-31: £36,124 - $40,476 Contract: Fixed term until March 2026. Walsall is implementing the Families First Programme with support from the Department for Education, based on the National Children’s Social Care Review and Stable Homes Built on Love. We are creating a combined, multi-agency locality Family Help Service, building on the strengths of Family Safeguarding model. Our vision is to help children and families at the earliest opportunity, to build relationships, engage whole families and community networks, and work together to achieve change. The main purpose of the Family Help Partnership Officer is to support, influence and negotiate with partners working with children, young people and their families across the borough in their delivery of Family Help as the Lead Family Help Coordinator. This post holder will have a hybrid of office and remote working but will also be expected to be able to reach venues and meetings across Walsall. This is a full-time post of 37 hours per week and this may include the possibility of evening work to meet the requirements of the service.
