Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am - 1.30pm
South Lanarkshire Council requires an experienced Electrician to support the delivery of electrical works within Building Services. The role involves managing varied workloads, including new build, refurbishment, maintenance, and Testing and Inspection programmes.
The ideal candidate will be time-served with relevant trade qualifications such as SVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds and demonstrate practical technical competencies in managing and delivering electrical jobs. Experience in commercial or domestic properties within the construction industry is essential.
For the Testing and Inspection programme, candidates should demonstrate sound practical competencies in testing and inspection according to current regulations and hold suitable qualifications.
Applicants should show a commitment to customer care, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience working to targets and deadlines. An awareness of health and safety in the workplace is also required. The ability to travel throughout South Lanarkshire is essential.
