As part of the Divisional Reporting Team, you will play a vital role in analysing and interrogating the financial performance of our Insulation Division while upholding strong financial discipline across the business. Responsibilities of our Divisional Reporting & Compliance Accountant Monthly Reporting & Consolidation Support the other Divisional Accountants with Tagetik reporting, Group Pack preparation, and development tasks. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and shorten reporting timelines. Perform analytical reviews of monthly results, budgets, and plans; consult with local FCs/FDs to summarise key findings. Support forecasting reviews, challenge assumptions, and help improve forecast accuracy. Review divisional overheads monthly with budget holders to identify savings and ensure completeness. Risk & Control Management Contribute to the annual internal audit plan, highlighting key and emerging risks. Support the KI Division Balance Sheet review process, including on-site/remote audits, reporting, and follow-ups with management and Group functions. Develop and monitor mechanisms to ensure timely, accurate balance sheet reconciliations across all legal entities in the Insulation Division. Work with businesses in the Divisional to strengthen and maintain a robust financial control environment. Integration, Acquisition & Divestment Play a key role in financial integration of new businesses, including scoping, implementation, and training. Verify opening balances and Fair Value adjustments post-acquisition. Coordinate post-acquisition integration with local leadership teams. Identify financial integration issues, drive solutions, and improve processes using best-practice benchmarks. Annual & Bi-Annual Duties Assist in reviewing HY and FY Group Stat Packs to ensure accuracy and timely submission. Support annual budget and strategic plan consolidation for Group reporting. What we are looking for in our Divisional Reporting & Compliance Accountant: You will have: Accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or ACA (either part-qualified or fully-qualified). Management reporting including preparation of management accounts Experience of accounting systems and ERPs Experience using MS Office specifically Excel and Power BI Instinctive IT skills, quick learner Some database analytical skills/proven use Ability to plan, prioritize and achieve deadlines Proven CPD Ability to travel and work away from home as and when required. Hold full driving licence.
