Contract: Fixed Term – 3 Years
Salary: Circa £23,500 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: 35 hours per week

Overview
Cheshire FA is seeking a proactive and passionate Facilities & Investment Support Officer to help deliver grassroots football facility improvements across the county. The successful candidate will support pitch quality initiatives, guide clubs through funding processes, and build strong relationships with local stakeholders.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys supporting volunteers, and is committed to enhancing the infrastructure of grassroots football.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support pitch improvement initiatives using PitchPower and Groundskeepers Community
2. Track pitch quality and affiliated ground locations
3. Assist clubs in developing football development plans for funding applications
4. Maintain a database of local funding sources
5. Oversee the 3G pitch register and attend local steering groups
6. Develop CPD and training for groundkeepers
7. Promote FA technical guidance to clubs, leagues, schools, and facility providers
8. Provide excellent support across FA tech systems (Club Portal, Matchday app, etc.)
9. Contribute to wider Cheshire FA projects and events
Safeguarding Requirements
10. FA Enhanced DBS check required
11. Completion of FA Safeguarding Children and Adults courses via England Football Learning
