About the Role
Shield Health & Social Care is seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our expanding homecare team. This role involves supporting individuals within their own homes, enabling them to maintain independence while ensuring their health, safety, and wellbeing. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a positive difference in people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high standards of personal care, including washing, dressing, and continence support
* Assist with the administration and monitoring of medication
* Prepare meals and support with nutritional needs
* Carry out light domestic duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
* Promote independence, dignity, and respect at all times
* Build positive, professional relationships with clients and their families
Working Hours
* Shifts commence from 08:00 AM, Monday to Sunday
* Flexibility required, including alternate weekends
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence
* Access to a vehicle for work purposes
* Female applicants only (due to the nature of personal care requirements)
* A caring, positive, and reliable attitude
* Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
