Anderselite are recruiting on behalf of a respected regional main contractor in Halifax who are seeking an experienced Buyer to join their commercial team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and detail-driven professional to play a vital role in the procurement of materials, plant, and services for a range of exciting construction projects across the region.
What You’ll Do
Source and purchase construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services
Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers
Build strong, long-term relationships with suppliers and project teams
Ensure timely delivery of materials to keep projects on track and within budget
Maintain accurate procurement records and manage costs effectively
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience as a Buyer in the construction industry
Strong negotiation and organisational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with suppliers and colleagues
A proactive, detail-focused approach
