This role ensures leaders have clear, accurate, and forward-looking insights to make confident, data-driven decisions. You will own headcount reporting and forecasting, develop high-quality management information, and strengthen the HR function's ability to anticipate business needs. The role focuses on improving data accuracy, elevating reporting maturity, and partnering closely with HR and senior leaders to embed a disciplined, insight-led approach to workforce planning. Workforce Planning & Reporting - Lead end-to-end workforce planning processes, including headcount reporting, forecasting, vacancy tracking, and scenario modelling. - Produce accurate, timely, and scalable reporting using Excel, HRIS, T&A systems and (ideally) Power BI or equivalent analytics tools. - Develop, refine, and maintain management information dashboards and reporting packs for HR and senior leadership. Data Quality & Process Excellence - Strengthen core people data foundations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across all datasets. - Create and maintain standard work, process documentation, and controls that support long-term sustainability and reduce manual effort. - Identify inefficiencies and redesign processes to improve speed, reliability, and reporting quality. Insight, Partnership & Decision Support - Partner with stakeholders across HR and the business to understand requirements and translate them into meaningful, actionable insights. - Proactively surface workforce trends, risks, and opportunities to support strategic decision-making. - Build strong relationships through clear communication, responsive service, and a deep understanding of business priorities. Candidate skills & requirements Skills & Experience - Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, modelling). - Proven experience working with HRIS platforms and understanding data structures, integrations, and reporting. - Good working knowledge of Time & Attendance systems. - Experience with data visualisation or analytics tools (Power BI preferred). - Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to data quality and integrity. - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers. - Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into tangible data solutions and forward-looking insight. - Continuous improvement mindset, with experience standardising work and streamlining reporting processes.
