Fabric Engineer – FM Service Provider - Pharmaceutical Site - Worthing - Up to £29,661 per annum
Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated near Worthing, Sussex. CBW is recruiting a Fabric Engineer to work on a large pharmaceutical site situated in Worthing. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of most general fabric trades. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £29,661, overtime and further training.

* Monday to Friday 08:00 am – 16:30 pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities
* General fabric repairs
* Furniture moves porterage
* Painting & Decorating
* Basic lighting
* Fixing Furniture
* Hanging Pictures & Shelves
* Maintain and update Log books
* Assist the maintenance team on site e.g PPMs, fire alarm tests, tap temp checks, flushing
* Escort sub-contractors
* To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks, making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.
Requirements
* Painting & Decorating qualification or background (Desirable)
* Knowledge of commercial building maintenance
* An understanding of most building fabric duties
* Good communication skills
* Health & Safety experience
* Basic PC literacy, (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, smartphone use)
* Ability to deliver excellent customer service
* Self-motivation with the ability to manage tight time constraints and prioritise workload
