Year 2 Teacher - Brighton

In this role, you will:
* Prepare the classroom and resources for engaging lessons.
* Teach core subjects like English, Maths, and Science, building on foundational skills.
* Lead targeted small group activities and incorporate hands-on learning.
* Prepare students for their end-of-Key Stage 1 assessments (SATs) in a supportive manner.
* Assess student understanding and progress throughout the day.
* Manage classroom behaviour, routines, and transitions.
* Supervise children during break and lunch times.
* Mark work and plan future lessons after school.
* Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
Skills and Experience
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Experience working with Year 2 or Key Stage 1 students is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with the Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment framework.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital.
* A passion for teaching and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
