Job Title \: Senior Work Services Engineer Location\: - Warton –on site Salary\: £ 47,683 Dependant upon skills and experience What you’ll be doing: Delivering planned facilities and service activities in relation to soft services management, acting as the Responsible Person or Point of contact Working within a diverse internal network of teams and external customers Collaborating with other team members & stakeholders to ensure success in your and your colleagues’ projects and priorities Gathering data, updating relevant documents and systems, and maintaining accurate schedules of work Follow process and system standards in line with business and user requirements Accessing and applying relevant Quality and Heath, Safety and Environmental (HS&E) Management System documentation related to your specific work scope and ensuring full compliance, control measures and security policies Representing the soft services team, at various key meetings across Warton Unit, with a key focus on providing SHE related data, utilisation and presenting to our stakeholders. Safe management and co-ordination of onsite contractor activities in relation to Soft Services Supporting Customer relationships by providing one-to-one support, setting clear expectations, and ensuring delivery in line with agreed service levels Delivering best value and customer satisfaction by managing relationships with a range of customers, suppliers, contractor management Budgetary and financial control and awareness for soft services activities Your skills and experiences: Previous experience working within a facilities or construction environment Excellent stakeholder and sub-contractor management skills Managing 3rd party contractors Proficient in Microsoft office (PowerPoint, excel, word etc) Membership of a professional body is desirable, but not essential Relevant qualifications or experience in Facilities Management/Health & Safety (NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH) Benefits: As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts - you may also be eligible for an annual incentive. The Facilities Team: As a Senior Works Services Engineer you will be joining the Facilities Team, more Soft Services Team within Facilities with a key focus on customer experience, working closely and collaboratively with Hard Services, Accommodation and Projects & Investment delivery. This role will provide you with a variety of work across all aspects of soft services management, with key focus on FOH, HS&E, and contractor management across Warton Unit, with primary focus at Samlesbury site In this role, you will make your mark from day one as you act swiftly in response to emergencies or urgent issues within our LINK facilities and site wide, taking appropriate action and managing outcomes through to completion.
