Job Purpose
You will lead and manage key strategic and complex cross functional projects for product stewardship and/or savings delivery (such as: value engineering, business continuity, complexity reduction and product remediation)
You will be responsible for generating robust and high-quality project plans, risk management and coordinating and driving cross functional teams to deliver these projects successfully.
Provide co-ordination and leadership for tracking and reporting key metrics and associated management of systems (eg Fusion, Galaxy, Power BI, Excel)
As part of the PMO team, you will be responsible for leading initiatives to continuously improve and standardise WoW’s, build capabilities in the Category and Technical organisation and support effective change management for any new processes or set-up
Scope of Role
1. High proficiency in delivering projects and/or programmes with differing levels of complexity across matrix teams (such as involving new technology, multiple markets, multiple functions, multi-BUs) partnering closely with Supply Chain, R&D and Commercial team members.
2. Work across boundaries with strong influence and communications skills for different audiences to bring clarity and aid decision making for efficiency in execution
Leadership

4. Lead capability building and embed PM best practices and behaviors in the Category and Technical organisation through coaching, mentoring & training
5. Strong leadership to develop and deliver of new ways of working and enhancements through learnings including innovation & governance models

7. High proficiency in driving resolution of team conflicts through skilled negotiation and diplomacy, elevating to accountable functional leaders as necessary.

Programme and Project Management
9. Accountable to ensure the setup of a clear structure at the outset of any project, such as: Governance, team roles and responsibilities, performance management, project planning, risk and issue management
10. Accountable for building project team (functions, people) upon project approval, partnering closely with cross-functional leadership.
11. Viewed as expert by core teams to ensure timely decision making, effective stakeholder communication, adherence to applicable processes, contingency planning and execution.
12. Accountable for ensuring there is a clear project scope and strategy, aligned resource needs, comprehensive spend forecasts.
13. Develop & maintain comprehensive timelines in MS Project and any associated management of project management systems
14. High proficiency in proactively identifying risks and issues and drive resolution without guidance - assure comprehensive risk assessment, scenario planning and mitigation plans are in place for all projects.
15. Expertise in meeting management, anticipating where to focus/push/pull and driving for impactful outcomes.
16. Ensure significant changes to the aligned business case are communicated rapidly and efficiently to appropriate leadership (via existing change control process)
17. Align & deliver all key project milestones to support appropriate metrics.
18. Where programme or project is following the stage gate process, partnering closely with Project Accountable Lead, drive gate readiness and action any gate meeting outcomes with broader project team.
19. Conduct lessons learned with project teams, document, and assure dissemination out to organization as best practice.
20. Develop, align and track project budget, rapidly communicating variance.
Experience required
21. Ideally you will have achieved a Master's or Ph.D although a Bachelor's degree in Sciences, Business/Finance or Engineering will be considered
22. Demonstrable knowledge and experience in Supply Chain or R&D including Project Management in a consumer healthcare environment or related area (e.g., CPG, pharmaceutical, etc.).
23. Project Management Certification preferred.
24. Proven delivery of effective programme and project management across a range of project types and complexities. Has held project management and/or leadership positions in organizations of comparable size.
25. Strong analytical skills.
Business Management
26. Breadth in end to end supply chain knowledge to bring supply chain expert knowledge into the programme (network understanding, sourcing, operations, planning, technical etc)
27. Regulatory understanding helpful
28. Ability to simplify complex programmes into a clearly defined and manageable scope and plan of delivery
29. Strong Ability to understand the big picture and link it to project/program, ensuring that the project’s goals and objectives will support the company’s goals and objectives.
30. Strong understanding of the overall business with functional interdependencies to bring a product from concept to consumers hands along.
31. Adaptability to thrive under different conditions and situations.
32. Possesses expertise in clear verbal and written communication, strong ability to convey complex ideas/concepts in a clear, succinct manner.
33. Strong ability to influence & challenge through courageous conversations, bring others to your way of thinking without force or coercion whilst acknowledging their opinions.
34. Strong ability to gauge & adjust communication style to audience.
35. High proficiency in role modeling accountability and holding others accountable.
