Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team

Position: 1x Full time temporary staff nurse position

Location: Emergency Department ECC, Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary (DGRI)

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Adult nurse to develop their skills in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will receive ongoing support and professional development, with the chance to enhance your clinical expertise.

As a band 5 Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will play a key role in providing high-quality, patient-focused care in urgent and emergency situations alongside our multidisciplinary team.

Interested applicants must have relevant and up to date acute nursing experience, while experience in Emergency Nursing is desirable, it is not essential.

About Us: Our Emergency Department serves the south-west of Scotland, treating over 37,000 patients annually. We are committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care and continuously improving our services.

Role And Responsibilities
Delivering direct patient care to both adults and paediatrics.

Assessing, planning and implementing nursing care for patients presenting with a range of conditions.

Working closely with senior nurses and doctors to manage clinical situations and contribute to decision-making.

Managing patient flow and ensuring efficient and timely care delivery in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

Contribute to the efficient running and ongoing review of our services.

Participate in developing innovative practices to enhance patient care.

Continuously develop your clinical skills and knowledge through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
