Theatre Receptionist – Royal United Hospital Bath
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work as a Theatre Receptionist based in the main theatre department at the Royal United Hospital Bath.
Responsibilities
* Serve as the first point of contact for staff, patients and visitors when they arrive at the department.
* Handle telephone enquiries related to the theatre, acting as the primary contact for any theatre-related queries.
* Perform a range of administrative tasks as required, including appointment scheduling, documentation and data entry.
* Provide a friendly, motivated and enthusiastic service, demonstrating excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Adapt to changing priorities and support the team in maintaining efficient theatre operations.
Qualifications
* Good IT skills and familiarity with standard office software.
* Experience of working with the general public.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to convey information clearly and understandably.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Desirable Criteria
* NHS or healthcare experience, particularly in an administrative capacity.
* European Computer Driving Licence.
