Itchen College Nursery is currently looking for Early Years Practitioners to work as bank staff within the Nursery. Do you have an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and Education or working towards your qualification? Do you have experience working in an Early Years setting supporting EYFS? Are you dedicated and enthusiastic with the ability to use your own initiative? If so we want to hear from you. This type of work is ideal for anybody who isn't able to work full time hours and needs work to fit around there own schedule. Key Responsibilities To ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the Day Nursery. Work collaboratively with the nursery team to ensure a positive and nurturing environment. Implement and maintain the daily routine in the designated base room. Adhere to and uphold the Nursery’s Safeguarding Policy & Procedures at all times. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or working towards. Good level of general education. Experience of working with children in a Nursery setting, particularly pre-school age. Good knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage. Good knowledge of Safeguarding procedures.
