Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing excellent customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

* Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
* Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
* Manage the reception area, keeping it tidy and organised at all times.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
* Handle administrative duties such as filing, typing correspondence, and managing schedules.
* Utilise Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace for various clerical tasks including document preparation and email correspondence.
* Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks as needed.
* Coordinate appointments and meetings, ensuring all necessary arrangements are made in advance.
* Support other team members with clerical tasks as required.

Requirements

* Previous office or administrative experience is essential.
* Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
* Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Experience with QuickBooks is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Demonstrated clerical experience is preferred.
* A professional demeanour with outstanding communication skills is essential for effective interaction with clients and colleagues alike.
