The company is a leading, growing defence technology business that designs and manufactures advanced electronic systems for military applications. Joining an established sales team, the new Sales Manager will drive new opportunities and manage existing accounts across the defence sector. In this role, you’ll own the full sales cycle, from identifying prospects to closing deals. You’ll be working with technical and commercial stakeholders both in the UK and overseas. The products are high-value, engineered systems integrated into military platforms; a background in selling into defence is required. The role: * Managing sales opportunities from lead generation through to contract award * Building relationships with key customer contacts across procurement, engineering and end user teams * Supporting proposals, bids and quotations for both UK and export opportunities * Leading customer presentations, demonstrations, and attending industry events * Working closely with internal teams to align sales activity with product and delivery plans The ideal Sales Manager: * Experience selling electronic systems into defence (or adjacent industries) * Comfortable managing complex sales with multiple stakeholders * Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical value clearly * Willing to travel for customer visits and events (UK and internationally) * Ideally, experience working with or alongside systems integrators or MOD customers Please note that this position is subject to UK security clearance requirements, and therefore, applicants must hold a UK passport This is a remote Sales Manager position, you can be based anywhere in the UK. However, monthly visits to the office in the South of England will be required. All your travel expenses will be paid.
