Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and organised Document Controller to manage and oversee the documentation processes within our organisation. The ideal candidate will ensure that all documents are accurately filed, maintained, and accessible to the relevant people.
Duties
* Maintain an organised filing system for all project documentation, including contracts, specifications, and correspondence.
* Ensure that all documents are version-controlled and up-to-date, facilitating easy retrieval for team members.
* Updating internal server
* Collaborate with project managers and team members to establish document control procedures and best practices.
* Respond promptly to requests for information from internal teams and external clients.
* Issue drawing updates across the company.
* Supplying site with all up to date drawings.
Skills
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
* Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
* Problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure.
* Previous experience in document control or a similar administrative role is desirable but not essential.
