Nigel Wright Group is delighted to be working with a growing consumer goods organisation transitioning from a consumer product brand to a consumer lifestyle brand. Nigel Wright is leading the search for a newly created Head of Social Media role for the EMEA region. The role will sit on the marketing leadership team and report to the EMEA Marketing Director as one of four Heads of department.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to help shape the journey of a multinational consumer brand to become an iconic lifestyle brand, differentiating it from competitors across EMEA. The individual could be based in North East England, West of Copenhagen in Denmark, or Breda in the Netherlands.
Role Profile:
* Overarching responsibility for social media strategy across multiple brands, including four core strategic brands owned by the company.
* Content planning and performance analysis.
* Paid media oversight.
* Community management and engagement.
* Trend and platform innovation—staying ahead of emerging trends, algorithms, and platform updates.
* Cross-functional engagement with brand, content, and creative teams to ensure cohesive storytelling across social platforms.
* Analytics and performance tracking.
* Leading a team across multiple remote European locations.
Person Specification:
* Proven senior social media leadership across EMEA, managing organic and paid strategies.
* Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, content formats, and audience engagement strategies.
* Experience managing and growing high-performance, multi-brand teams in a pan-European environment.
* Expertise in paid media planning and execution.
* Data-driven approach to content performance and optimization.
