* Lead technical design output on assigned projects, ensuring solutions are buildable, safe, cost effective and aligned with creative intent.

* Act as a technical problem solver, advising on materials, construction methods, assembly logic, tolerances and installation techniques.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and mid‑weight technical designers, supporting skill development and consistent drawing standards.
* Protect brand and company integrity by upholding construction standards and defined ways of working.
* Produce clear site install, de‑rig and survey packs, ensuring safe and well‑coordinated delivery on site.
* Work collaboratively with Production Managers, Creative Designers, Workshop teams and external suppliers.
* Drive continual improvement and innovation in fabrication methods, drawing efficiency, modular thinking and project delivery.
You Will Have / Qualifications
* 5+ years of Technical Design experience, with a strong track record of leading fabrication projects from design concept through to final build.
* A full driving licence is required.
* Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques including cabinetry, timber construction, metalwork and mixed materials, balancing aesthetics with technical feasibility.
* Proficiency in 3D modelling software (Vectorworks and Fusion 360 preferred) and advanced 2D technical drawing and draughting with solid manufacturing standards knowledge.
* Experience in design for manufacturing, considering cost efficiency, weight, transport, installation and production complexity.
* Exceptional problem solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and a methodical approach to challenges.
* Attention to detail and accuracy for high quality execution of complex projects.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders, translating technical requirements clearly and diplomatically.
