Complex Care Assistant Location: Walsall (WS2) Type: Full-Time / Long-Term Salary: £85–£95 per day (depending on experience and/or qualifications) Start Date: Immediate The School and Role ABC Teachers are working in partnership with Mary Elliot Academy, a specialist SEND school in Walsall, to recruit a dedicated Complex Care Assistant to support pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and complex medical needs. As a Complex Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with personal care, mobility, communication, and sensory needs while helping them access a meaningful and engaging curriculum. Many pupils require 1:1 support, including assistance with feeding, hygiene, positioning, and the use of specialist equipment. Mary Elliot Academy provides a nurturing, structured, and highly supportive environment for pupils with SLD, PMLD and ASC, and staff work closely with therapists and medical professionals to ensure every child receives the care and support they need to thrive. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in PMLD, care work, SEN support, or healthcare settings.
