Job Description: Service Manager - Mental Health
Location: Staffordshire, UK
Position: Permanent, full-time
Salary: £40,000 per annum + car allowance
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to join our team in Staffordshire, UK. As a Service Manager within our supported living facility for adults with mental health needs, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the supported living facility, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Lead and manage a team of support staff, providing guidance, supervision, and support as needed
Develop and implement individual care plans for residents, in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team
Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and support provided, making necessary adjustments and improvements as needed
Manage the budget and resources of the facility, ensuring efficient and effective use of funds
Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders
Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of staff members
Ensure all records and documentation are accurate and up-to-dateRequirements:
Minimum of 3 years experience in a managerial role within a mental health care setting
NVQ Level 4 or above in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of individuals
Sound knowledge of mental health conditions and their impact on individuals
Proven experience in budget management and resource allocation
