Description Understand all policies and procedures to be able to provide initial and early stages advice and support to all staff and management on the full employee life cycle via a range of communication channels. Support and advise managers on the initial stages of all ER issues; including absence management, performance, grievances, conduct and capability. Coordinate and support managers through the initial stages of employee relations cases as necessary by maintaining a communication flow with the line manager, advising and supporting with initial stages and escalating to a Senior HR Advisor as appropriate. When needed, provide updates and support to the Employee Relations Lead. Provide contextual solution driven and business focused options for managers by outlining any risks to the council and providing clear next steps.
