Are you an empathetic Mental Health Practitioner looking for an exciting new role?
We are recruiting a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to join a well-established NHS trust in Manchester on a locum contract. The role offers an immediate start, full-time hours for an initial 10 months. We welcome both Newly Qualified Psychologists and experienced candidates.
The successful practitioner will manage a caseload, using specialist knowledge and advanced clinical reasoning to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The role involves mental health assessments and treatment, safeguarding adults, triage and review of safeguarding referrals, and developing protection plans. The role primarily involves face-to-face appointments within locality clinics in Worcestershire, with some remote work possible due to a hybrid model.
Skills and experience needed:
* Managing a caseload
* Offering clinical treatment and consultation
* Experience with diverse mental health presentations
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
