Overview
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde employs around 40,000 staff across acute hospital, primary, community and mental health services. This part‑time position supports Mental Health Teams in East Dunbartonshire.
Shift Pattern
22.5 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday). Salary is pro‑rata for part‑time hours.
Responsibilities
* Promote a recovery‑based approach with lived experience of mental health issues.
* Support service users by sharing personal recovery experience and encouraging independent living.
* Assist individuals to manage illness, seek unpaid or paid employment, and engage in meaningful activities.
* Develop surveys, service improvement initiatives and engage with patients through one‑to‑one and group work.
Qualifications
* Lived experience of personal mental health difficulties.
