Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client - A main distribution centre for major high street supermarket focused on homeware products. Subsidised transport available from pickup points in Leeds (LS8, LS10, LS11, LS15). Staffline is recruiting for Warehouse Operatives in Sherburn-in-Elmet. The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour. Overtime is available and is paid at £15.89 per hour. This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, either on a 8 or 12-hour shift pattern. The hours of work are: - 7am to 7pm or 7pm-7am (4 shifts on 4 shifts off) - subsidised buses - 7.30am-7.30pm or 7.30pm-7.30am (4 shifts on 4 shifts off) - subsidised buses (Various 8-hour shift patterns may be available across a 7 day period.) - no transport Your Time at Work As a Warehouse Operative, your duties include: - Goods In/Unloading - Put away - Picking (either manual or via automated functions) - Despatch/Loading - Heat press shirt printing - Returns This role will involve lots of manual handling and some heavy lifting up to 25KG. Our Perfect Worker Our perfect worker will have accuracy whilst picking at speed and show good attention to detail. Good Level of written and spoken English due to health and safety requirements Applicants must be physically fit as there is a lot of manual handling and some heavy lifting up to 25KG. Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential as full training is provided.
