Accounts Semi-Senior / Accountant - AAT Level 4+ | Practice | Exeter
We're currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Semi-Senior or Accountant with at least 2 years of practice experience and AAT Level 4 (or equivalent). This is a client-facing role offering a varied workload and clear progression within a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships & limited companies
* Produce statutory financial statements from source records
* Submit VAT returns and maintain client books
* Prepare corporation tax computations
* Assist with management accounts and support client queries
* Supervise junior team members and provide support to managers
* Communicate with clients and HMRC where needed
Skills & Requirements:
* AAT Level 4 (or equivalent)
* Practice experience (min. 2 years)
* Proficient in Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks
* Strong communication, organisation, and client relationship skills
* Able to manage workload effectively and support junior colleagues
