We are seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer to be based on site handling Design & Technical Management for the Civil, Structural & Architecture packages on 10 + Mega Watt Data centres. Managing design development from concept through construction, ensuring buildability, cost efficiency, compliance, and integration with site operations. The desire is for this individual to have a BIAS towards the civil & engineering elements. This person will feel comfortable pulling a project out the ground and handling an array of subterrain elements from earthworks excavation, muck shift, de-watering, piling, concrete slabs and general substructure works. A lot of time, money and energy is spent ensuring that the design is fit for purpose to compliment aggressive programs. These technology clients want a return upon the investment ASAP so it's all about program and thinking outside the box. The projects you will be based on range from the London Region to the Midlands. Depending upon timings and your location you will be placed on the project most suitable. For these reasons & to fit the culture of the business you need to be able to drive and be open to working away as the site locations aren't all next to public transportation locations.
