As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support to pupils, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, physical disabilities and social, emotional, and mental health needs. Create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment where every child feels valued and supported. Work collaboratively with teaching staff, external professionals, and families to promote positive outcomes. Support pupils in developing social and emotional skills as well as academic progress.
