About the role:
You will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of our machined products.
What you'll be doing:
* Manufacturing process planning
* CNC offline program creation, cutting tool selection and procurement.
* Customer liaison on design for manufacture and general technical issues.
* The introduction and progression of new products through the shop.
* Setting and operation of CNC machines.
Who we're looking for:
You'll have existing experience as a CNC Setter / Programmer or Manufacturing Engineering.
It would be great if you also have:
* Experience working on 3-5 axis horizonal and vertical machines.
* Knowledge working with Haas, Mazak, or Matsura machining centres
* Experience and knowledge of CAD / CAM Software (hyperMill, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Powermill, Mastercam)
* Knowledge of on line ISO programming
* Knowledge of technical drawings, geometric tolerances and practices
* Ability to travel to site
