This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with the potential for a permanent position following a successful trial period. Key Responsibilities: General Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness in communal areas, hallways, staircases, and other shared spaces. Handyman Tasks: Carry out basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing minor repairs, and ensuring the overall upkeep of the property. Bin Store Management: Ensure the bin store area is tidy, organised, and well-maintained, including dealing with waste management procedures. Liaising with the Council: Work closely with local authorities regarding any maintenance or environmental concerns affecting the property. Resident Support: Provide support to residents as needed, ensuring they have a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment. Requirements: Previous experience in a similar caretaker or maintenance role is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Basic handyman skills, including knowledge of minor repairs. Good communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with residents and external organisations, including the council.
