The Role – Learning Support Assistant (Youth Justice & Safeguarding Focus)
Monday–Friday | 8:30am–3:30pm | Term-time only
You will support pupils aged 4–11 who present with:
1. Social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
2. Behavioural challenges linked to trauma, neglect, or adverse experiences
3. Risk factors associated with anti-social behaviour, gangs, or exploitation
4. Communication and emotional regulation difficulties
5. Neurodivergent needs, including ASD and ADHD
You’ll deliver structured support both 1:1 and in small groups, helping learners build resilience, self-regulation, and positive decision-making skills through evidence-informed, trauma-aware, and child-centred approaches.
