Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess the skills necessary to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages, ensuring their wellbeing, and fostering their development through play and structured activities.
The role will be between 3:15 - 5:30pm Monday - Friday within a school near Stalbridge.
Duties
* Supervise and engage with a small number of children in a safe and caring environment (after school).
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
* Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
* Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the childcare area, including toys and equipment.
Experience
* Proven experience working with children in a childcare setting or nursery is essential.
* A background in early childhood education is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Previous management or leadership experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

Pay: £24.00 per hour
