We are a forward‑thinking, training GP practice serving a population of 17,000 patients across West Lancashire with 2 branches in Skelmersdale, 1 in Southport & 1 in Ormskirk.
We are seeking two enthusiastic and motivated GPs to join our supportive and expanding team, working Monday, Wednesday & Friday and Monday, Wednesday & Thursday.
Responsibilities
* Provide high‑quality, personalised medical services to the practice population, delivering sensitive, responsive and patient‑centred care.
* Ensure that ethnic, linguistic, cultural and social needs of patients are recognised and appropriately addressed in all aspects of care.
Service Development
1. Contribute to shaping, developing and organising services to reflect the evolving needs of the local community and practice population.
Learning & Education
1. Promote and contribute to the practice as a learning organisation, maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of current policy, clinical guidelines and best evidence, and supporting their integration into everyday practice.
Team Working & Leadership
1. Work effectively within the primary healthcare team, fostering strong multidisciplinary collaboration and taking on leadership responsibilities where appropriate.
Quality Improvement & Governance
1. Actively participate in and promote quality improvement initiatives, including clinical governance, audit, and service evaluation.
Practice Values & Objectives
1. Work in line with the practice’s aims, objectives and values, contributing to a positive, supportive and sustainable working culture.
