Key Responsibilities Preparation of tender/enquiry review pack to help inform bid/no bid decisions. Ability to read & review schematics & designs prior to completing any take off. Complete mechanical take offs from schematics & 3-D designs and collate into material & labour costs. Liaise with commercial team to analyse labour requirements for each project and pull together associated costs for review. Obtain & review specialist supplier & sub-contractors quotes. To attend site meetings alongside design engineers & contracts managers as required both pre & post contract award. Prepare handover pack & attend internal post award meetings for successful projects to discuss and review breakdown of estimate with delivery team. Quantity take-off, BOQ preparation and unit rate buildups. Any other duties deemed necessary by management. Essential Civil/Structural Engineering or Construction related degree or equivalent experience. Ability to interpret drawings and engineering information. Effective project management skills and the ability to exceed customer expectations. Experience in achieving/exceeding business objectives. Strong programme management experience in managing customer programmes from tender stage to delivery. Desirable Criteria 35 years experience in a relevant discipline. Experience in the design, manufacture and use of precast concrete products in civil/structural applications. Current full driving licence.
