Within the Infrastructure Advisory Group, we are a team of subject matter experts responsible for supporting activities from developing acquisition strategies to deal execution and integration.

Our Infrastructure Group in the UK includes around 400 professionals and is recognized globally as a leader in infrastructure advisory, covering strategic, financial, regulatory, and commercial issues.
We advise on market and policy design, economic and regulatory analysis, deal structuring, and funding strategies to support infrastructure investments. We also collaborate with other KPMG functions on M&A, valuations, tax, and due diligence.
What will you be doing?
* Developing understanding of regulatory finance issues in sectors like water and energy, including regulatory mechanisms and their financial impacts;
* Building market intelligence and sector knowledge;
* Supporting the delivery of client engagements;
* Assisting in business development activities, including proposals and pitches;
* Creating and evaluating financial models;
* Managing project planning, delivery, and closure, with an understanding of regulatory frameworks and financial implications in relevant sectors.
What will you need to do it?
* Analytical problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity;
* Independent thinking and problem identification skills;
* Strong knowledge of economic and financial theory and application;
* Ability to provide well-reasoned solutions to complex problems;
* Proficiency in quantitative economic and financial analysis, including econometrics and statistics;
* Willingness to work on diverse projects, ideally with experience in utilities, water, and energy networks sectors, either industry or regulatory experience.
