Structural Engineer

Our client is a well-established and global engineering consultancy, currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of building structures projects within a supportive and technically strong environment.
The Role
As a Structural Engineer, you will be involved in the design and delivery of projects across the residential, commercial, and mixed‑use sectors. You will work closely with senior engineers and project teams, contributing from concept design through to construction.
Key Responsibilities
* Structural design and analysis in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
* Production of design calculations and technical documentation
* Coordination with architects, contractors, and external consultants
* Supporting projects through detailed design and construction stages
* Site inspections and responding to technical queries as required
* Ensuring designs comply with relevant UK codes and standards
Requirements
* Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Typically 2–6 years’ experience in a UK structural consultancy
* Progressing towards Chartership (ICE or IStructE)
* Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and Eurocodes
* Experience using industry-standard analysis and design software
* Good communication skills and a proactive approach
