Job Description
Robertson Recruitment are on the lookout for a reliable HGV class 2 driver to work with an established food distribution business. Youll play a key role in delivering a wide range of frozen, chilled, and ambient products to valued customers across the region including schools, restaurants, pubs, cafés, and other catering outlets. Please be aware this is a permanent role.
Working hours:
Monday to Friday.
45 hours a week.
06:00am starts.
Overtime available.
Please be aware you will have to work one Saturday a month.
Responsibilities:
* Driving a HGV class 2 vehicle to deliver multi-temperature food products
* Deliveries will be unloading at multiple sites and workers on site will be doing that for you
* Providing excellent customer service at every drop
* Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle checks
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Qualifications for the role:
* Valid HGV class 2 licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* A positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Experience in multi-drop delivery is preferred
